IBS Office Solutions sponsor Rams RFC Youth Programme

IBS Office Solutions has a long standing relationship with National 1 Community rugby club Rams RFC based in Sonning, Berkshire. This is based on shared values and a passion for providing state school children with improved sporting opportunities.

IBS Office Solutions has sponsored Rams youth programme for the last few years and during this time the club’s junior members have risen from 336 to over 460. The IBS Office Solutions schools tournament, which takes place as a curtain raiser before a Rams 1st team home game every year, has become a regular feature that encourages children to take up a team sport and also encourages engagement from Rams’ members and supporters.

“Caleb and I met in the gym and discovered that we had both coached junior rugby and were both keen to give youngsters the opportunity to play a great team sport. Rams follows the principles set out in the Ofsted report of 2014 going the extra mile which advocates clubs engaging with their local state schools, which is where IBS Office Solutions stepped in to provide their support.”

IBS work with local charities on a SEND Education River Programme

The Rivertime Boat Trust and the River & Rowing Museum are working in conjunction to provide opportunities for disabled young people to enjoy the River Thames, with the support of IBS Office Solutions.

Rivertime is a specially adapted cruiser that can accommodate 12 passengers, including 5 in wheelchairs. In 2013 The River & Rowing Museum teamed up with Rivertime to create a ‘Museum on the Thames’ which has since reached over 400 children aged between 6 -19 years old.

“This is a unique experience combining interactive museum workshops with a boat trip to enhance learning about the river and its wildlife. There is no other initiative like this in the UK, and we are delighted to be a part of something so special.”
